Vinitha Jacob is a K12 scholar in the Department of Emergency Medicine, with a research focus on coagulation and sepsis. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she did research on epigenetics and liver development. She recently completed her residency in emergency medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital and is excited to join the team at University of Michigan.
