Erica Stein, MD is a board-certified radiologist with fellowship training in abdominal radiology. At the University of Michigan, she is a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology, Associate Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency, and Director of Body CT. Including fellowship and post-training years, she has seven years of abdominal radiology experience. She has broad experiences in clinical research, and has published in the areas of both gastrointestinal and genitourinary radiology. Over the last three years, she has worked closely with Kayvan Najarian, PhD, and his lab on a project utilizing deep learning to both segment livers and identify parenchymal trauma. Dr. Stein has also collaborated on a project to develop an interpretable neural network to predict outcomes in traumatic brain injury.
