Nana Sefa is an Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Physician with the Department of Emergency Medicine. He earned his degree in medicine at the University of Ghana Medical School. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and did his Critical Care fellowship with the Harvard-Brigham and Women’s Hospital program before joining the University of Michigan. Dr. Sefa also has an MPH in Global Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.

Nana is interested in developing effective modalities for delivering high fidelity clinical education and skills development in areas where resources are often severely limited. He hopes to develop locally relevant and internally valid clinical research that has global impact.
