Elizabeth Munroe, M.D., M.Sc., is a clinical instructor and research fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan. She completed medical school, Internal Medicine residency, and a Chief Resident year at the University of Chicago. She came to the University of Michigan in 2020, where she completed Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship and a Master’s in Health Care Research. She has now joined the University of Michigan faculty on the research track. Her research focuses on optimizing the use of fluids and vasopressors in early sepsis resuscitation, with a particular interest in the use of peripheral vasopressors and initial fluid resuscitation volumes.
