Shreya is a fourth-year engineering student at the University of Michigan studying Biomedical Engineering, and is currently a research assistant as part of the Cardiovascular Biomechanics Laboratory.

She has previous experience in research as part of the Adaptive Designs for Human Safety faculty research team, in which she worked on developing a statistical model to predict skull morphology using MATLAB scripts and clinical CT data. In addition, I am currently a project lead for MHEAL's The Initiative, which seeks to design a low-cost infant warmer for use in low-resource communities to reduce rates of neonatal mortality.

Through these experiences, she has gained insight into the product development process and research, and is looking forward to gaining more research experience.
