Dr. David Zopf helps lead the multidisciplinary Complex Sleep Apnea clinic at University of Michigan, Mott CS Children’s Hospital. Dr. Zopf is currently PI and leading a NIH funded R01 equivalent clinical trial on an airway device helping treat obstruction in patients with cerebral palsy and Trisomy 21. He has been a Co-Investigator on NIH multicenter sleep randomized controlled trials, including the PATS study. He has a passion for medical innovation and has developed novel 3D printed devices to treat patients. Dr. Zopf is involved in medical device development and tissue engineering for several applications within Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
