David Burke, PhD has focused his research on the technologies and experimental strategies for complex genetic analysis. His work bridges the disciplines of engineering and biomedical analysis. Over the past 10 years, he has worked extensively on low-cost phenotyping and genotyping systems. The laboratory has extensive experience with genotyping and genome mapping, including previous major projects involving genome-wide scans forquantitative trait loci (QTLs). He has a strong scientific interest in genetic analysis in human disease and complex gene-by-gene and gene-by-environment challenges.
