Associate Professor, Radiology

Dr. Wasnik completed his radiology residency from King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India. He served as a radiology faculty at Grant Medical College, India before moving to University of Michigan. He is a fellowship trained Abdominal Radiologist certified by the American Board of Radiology.

His primary area of research includes imaging and management of ovarian and adnexal masses, bowel imaging (Post-operative and inflammatory bowel diseases), Ultrasound in liver imaging/HCC screening, and transplant imaging. Dr. Wasnik is also actively involved in medical student education.

He has published over 60 papers and several book chapters. He has presented more than 100 scientific or educational presentations at national and international conferences, receiving over 30 awards. He serves on several committees in the national societies- Radiological Society of North America, Association of University Radiologists, American College of Radiology, American Board of Radiology, Society of Abdominal Radiology. He has presented over 50 invited national and international lectures. He also serves as Deputy Editor of Academic Radiology journal.
